Throughout our 3-week study of Jesus' final teaching and prayer, you will receive daily e-mails including Scripture readings, devotionals, quote graphics, and lots of free goodies.
We’ll dig deep for five days each week, then we’ll take two days to reflect on what we've learned and to enjoy the free digital gifts from our creative partners.
We have also included an audio version of the daily devotionals in each Before I Go e-mail—making it easier than ever to learn on the go.
It is important to set aside a minimum of 10-15 minutes to complete the daily Bible reading and devotional (the e-mail will arrive around 6 am local time).
If you get behind, don't rush to keep up. We encourage you to create a folder in your e-mail inbox and take time to go through the study at your own pace.
If you have extra time, we invite you to engage with our Facebook community and read the additional resources included at the end of each e-mail.
If you have specific prayer requests during our time together, please post them on our Living by Design Prayer Wall. Our Prayer team considers it a privilege to pray for your individual requests.
As you navigate our three-week study, you will notice every day is titled with an action verb.
They are actions you can do, today. And every single one of them is a reaction to what Christ has done for you.

The overarching theme of the book of John is one of invitation.
John invites us into an active, continuous, trusting relationship with Jesus Christ.
His message is simple. His delivery is concise. How will you respond?
